Sdcard partitioning

This Post is meant to help you with easy partitioning the SDcard to create: DWYOR

• Ext2 partition (for android app2sd and other trick)
• Swap partition ( for android swap creation)

Using Mini tool partition wizard home edition. simplest way is to use, MTP this tool is compatible with windows 2000/xp, vista and windows 7.

Requirement: USB SDcard Reader 

Pull SD card from phone, Insert into USB SD card Reader. Windows should report new drive and content of the drive should be visible.

- Step 1: Delete old partition on SDcard.

Note: This partition manager Queues the operations. So Noting is deleted and Changed Until you click" APPLY" and than Confirm by clicking "OK"

Warning!!! DWYOR!!!

Make sure you are deleting partition on SDcard! (Not your hard drive for example).

This step deletes everything files on SDcard, so backup file first!!

Don't be afraid, just read everything and think twice before selecting correct drive.

Doyou  see three gray Icons on the bottom?  Under each of them the capacity of each drive is listed and SDcard has slightly different Icon.

Hard drives on the screen shoot have 465.8GB and 74.5 GB and on the bottom, the SDcard with 3.8 GB capacity.

Posting ini ane buat untuk membantu temen-temen lebih mudah untuk melakukan partisi pada SDcard : DWYOR

Partisi ext2 (untuk menjalankan app2sd pada android dan trik lainnya).

Partisi swap (Untuk melakukan swap pada android).

Menggunakan Mini tool partition wizard home edition. Cara paling mudah adalah dengan menggunakan MTP, tool ini kompatibel pada windows 2000 / xp, vista dan windows 7.

Persyaratan: USB SDcard reader

copot kartu SD dari HP, Masukkan ke dalam Card reader. Tunggu sampai muncul jendela baru yang memberitahukan kalu sdcard udah terbaca.

- Langkah 1: Hapus partisi di SDcard.

Catatan: Nanti akan muncul jendela baru. Jadi perhatikan baik-baik Karena pada jendela baru temen-temen akan disuruh untuk mengapus SDcard jadi click " Apply" dan langkah terakhir click "confirm"

Peringatan !!! DWYOR !!!

Pastikan Temen-temen sudah menghapus partisi pada SDcard sebelumnya! 

Langkah ini akan menghapus semua file pada SDcard, Jadi backup dulu data temen-temen biar tidak hilang !!

Jangan kuatir, sebelum memilih driver perhatikan dan baca tutorial dengan benar.

Teman-teman melihat tiga Ikon abu-abu di bagian bawah kan? Di bagian bawah masing-masing kapasitas drive akan kelihatan dan SDcard memiliki Icon yang sedikit berbeda.

-Step 2: create Fat or Fat32 Partition

Select "Create As" : Primary 

Select " File System" Fat when you have 2 GB or smaller card.

Select "File System" Fat32 when you have 4 GB or greater card

"-Langkah 2: membuat Partisi FATatau FAT32 

Pilih "Create As": Primary

Pilih "File System" Fat Jika temen-temen menggunakan 2 GB atau kartu memory yang lebih kecil.

Pilih "File System" FAT32 bila temen-temen menggunakan 4 GB atau kartu memory yang lebih besar"

- Step 3: Create Ext2 or Ext3 or swap partition.

Select: " Create As": Primary

Select "File System" Ext2- For App2sd.

Select " File System" Swap to make Swap.

If you want to create Both: don't assign all the space for the first one, this way you will have space for creating second one.

"- Langkah 3: Buat Ext2 atau Ext3 atau partisi swap.

Pilih: "Create As": Primary

Pilih "File System" Ext2- Untuk App2sd.

Pilih "File System" Swap untuk membuat Swap.

Jika Temen-temen ingin membuat Keduanya: Jangan menggunakan semua kapasitas memory , jadi temen-temen memiliki ruang untuk membuat satu lagi."

-Step 4: Finish

Finally, click "apply" button on top left corner.

Partition will be created and card will be formatted.

"-Langkah 4: Selesai

Terakhir, klik "apply" tombol di sudut kiri atas.

Partisi akan dibuat dan kartu akan diformat.
